Reduce Lower Back Pain And Trim Your Lower Half – Wear The Right Shoes

Whilst walking barefoot through a Korean rice field, Swiss engineer Karl Muller noticed that his back pain – which was a perennial problem for him – was very much reduced. Curious, he performed a little research and found that the Masai tribesmen of Africa are famous for their excellent posture and do not suffer from back pain.

Muller came to the conclusion that walking barefoot on soft ground was better for your back and joints than walking on a hard surface. He decided to design a shoe which would mimic the effect of walking on a soft yielding surface such as grass or sand.

Muller eventually developed the Masai Barefoot Technology (MBT) range of footwear. It is so different to normal shoes that it needs to be thought of as the “anti-shoe”.

MBT shoes incorporate a specially developed curved sole without a heel, which produces a rolling action when your foot makes contact with the ground. Do You Ever Wonder If You Have Gout?

There is nothing new about gout, it has been around for hundreds and probably thousands of year and has seen millions of people suffer with it. Gout is prevalent in some families, if your father or other male member of your family has gout then there is a chance that you to will develop it.

In contrast, there are many who have experienced gout attacks actually have normal to low uric acid levels.

People who have gout are generally recommended to stop or at least reduce eating foods rich in purines which are indisputably linked to the rising levels of uric acid in the body. Gout develops when the body is unable to expel uric acid in the blood.

New Discoveries on Fibromyalgia? – Your Diet and Exercise

I have spent a considerable amount of time and research related to ones diet and how it can affect health. In fact, Ive written several articles on diet as it relates to specific illnesses.

Although research is lacking in the department of diet and fibromyalgia, some does exist. What I have focused on the most though, is actual feedback from my clients.

While my program has shown them the most promise of relief for their Fibromyalgia symptoms, many, if not most, stated that also a key was the change in diet.

Fibromyalgia is a disease that affects both the muscles and connective tissues. The main symptoms are chronic pain in these areas and extreme pain even when gently touched.

Other symptoms include: extreme fatigue, sleep disturbances including bruxism (tooth grinding), hard time breathing and swallowing.

Fibromyalgia has also had a long history of not being accepted as an actual medical condition by many doctors. So many times my clients have written to me telling me their doctor told them, Its all in your head.

Thats an infuriating thing to read, let alone hear in person from a doctor who is supposed to care. Recent studies imply that could actually be the key. While no known organic cause can be found, many are now starting to believe that fibromyalgia is a psychological condition.

Thats not to say these are imaginary symptoms of pain. The same research also indicates that those who suffer from fibromyalgia have a heightened sense of pain, meaning, for those who normally dont register stimuli as pain, you will register it if you suffer from fibromyalgia.

It follows a pretty common sense approach as far as diet goes. The main foods to avoid are: chocolate, coffee, alcohol, foods high in salt, fried foods, high fat foods, white flour or sugar, carbonated drinks, Nutrasweet or saccharine and tobacco (although not technically a food).

Keep in mind that this is a preventative approach ” avoid foods that can further stifle an already suppressed immune system (like alcohol). Stay away from high fat foods which are known to cause lethargy. Avoid fried and high salt foods which can cause the body to swell, and lead to further pain.

Breathing and relaxation exercises are also recommended. Be careful though, with exercise. Overdoing it can set off painful symptoms. I highly recommend my Fibromyalgia program. Its results have been amazing!

The Problem with Glutathione Supplements

There are a lot of health conscious people who spend time and money researching and buying antioxidant supplements for the simple reason that they want the benefits that antioxidants can provide for their health. So, Why Do You Care About Glutathione?

Glutathione is an antioxidant that is manufactured in your body. But Glutathione is really much more than that.
